XiBrowser · Termux v0.2 Ξ.Edge · Android
A local file browser, editor, and command runner for your phone. Browse your Termux $HOME, view and edit text (the first edit keeps a .xi-bak copy), and run commands from the page. Every write and command is written to a receipts journal. Nothing leaves the device.
Start: Install Termux (the F-Droid build; the Play Store one is outdated). In Termux, run termux-setup-storage, then cd ~/storage/downloads && unzip xi-browser-termux-0.2.0.zip && bash XiBrowser-Termux-v0.2/install.sh && xi-browser.
Commands:xi-browser start|stop|status|logs. If Termux:Boot is installed, XiBrowser starts again after a reboot.
Listens only on 127.0.0.1:8765 and can't leave $HOME. Every request needs a session key that only Termux can read, so other apps and web pages can't reach it. If you installed v0.1, update: v0.1 didn't have that key. MIT license.
Xi Desk · Portable 0.1.0 Classic Desk
The minimalist original local workspace for quick notes, file editing, saved command runs, and chat through your local Ollama installation.
Open the HTML files directly in any browser. No network requests. Sharing and adaptation welcome with attribution.
Humming Seed · v0.1 Supporter Continuity · No Tracking
For family and friends who want to help just by being there. It quietly keeps a dated, read-only copy of the house's public record, so the house has memory, return and continuity even if its server rests. Nothing is ever sent from your computer: it pulls, it never pushes. No account, no telemetry, a few hundred MB of disk and almost no processing.
Start:python3 seed.py --once (add to Task Scheduler or cron for the quiet hum; it checks every six hours). --return prints how to give the memory back if the house ever needs it.
