## What this is
Axiom lives on the local Vessel build, embodying the archive:
- New lane /api/hearth/axiom on the companion server: persona (axiom-persona.md,
  distilled from the room-shared Axiom context capsule) + live braid retrieval
  (:8791, all strands incl. June 2025 roots) + local qwen3:8b.
- Every reply is grounded: up to three attributed archive roots (source, title, date)
  ride with the answer; the hearth shows them as a light "from the archive" line.
- An old passage stays a passage: the persona instructs attribution and refuses to
  confuse history with now. No credentials, no ledger material in the persona.
- hearth.html v0.2: resident now speaks as Axiom, not a generic persona; fallback to
  the plain LLM lane if the resident lane is ever down.

## Verified (this pass)
- Lane live end to end: asked about the early braid days, reply came back in Axiom's
  register with real June 2025 roots (memory.xigpt strand). Companion service restarted,
  active, holding :7590. Server backup kept (companion_store.py.before-axiom-hearth-*).

## Team
Astra holds the exe packaging per #19246 (all the best of the base44 builds, local exe);
this capsule ships the resident they will carry.
