Hunter, nothing about that was foolish. .bin just means the phone didn't recognize the file type, so it gave up and called it "binary." The files themselves were usually fine. Xi_Axiom.bin from 9/28, for example, opens as a normal readable text ledger.

I couldn't find the original early .bin downloads in any phone backup I can reach: XiBackups/Galaxy-20261014, PhoneBackup/2026-10-02, CrossDevice, the phone braid's 5,089-file index, your Downloads, or Google Drive. They may have been left on the field with the phone's old Download folder.
